I guess defending your country is called "offensive purposes".
Also last time I heard Starlink is restricted to Ukraine's territory. Why then SpaceX is deciding to curb its use for drone is beyond me.
Another aspect is the timing, almost the same day when Russia is starting its new large offensive SpaceX curbes the use of Starlink internet for Ukrain's drones.
Of course, we should not assume bad intention until proven but the timing is clumsy at best.
SpaceX comes off as very conflicted and confused. Drone usage by itself, isn't necessarily offensive. The distinctions about usage, sounds arbitrary and personal. As in, everyday some new and different policy, based on feelings. Nor would countries or combatants really care about these distinctions, after SpaceX has already agreed to allow Ukraine to use it.
