The servo project was always just a test bed. When the team was laid off, useful parts made it into firefox, and the rest got branched out into its own repository and project, now available on GitHub. Namely, the Stylo css engine was fully integrated.

I think there was quantum which was something to do with the render system? Where as servo was a from the ground up replacement for gecko (FF's web engine).
