Storming out of your high paying tech job without giving any notice is the type of idea that sounds good when you’re fantasizing about, but does far more harm than good.
In real life, professionals don’t do this. I’ve only heard of it happening a few times, and it each case it was the story of legends that everyone knew about for years. Not in a good way, but in a “that’s the guy who just disappeared and left us to clean up their mess” way.
It’s the kind of move that will make sure nobody who knows anyone who knows that story will ever consider hiring you, and for good reason.

This is delusional. As long as a company is paying top-1% compensation they’re going to have candidates lining up to take those jobs.
The idea that tech workers are all going to unite and refuse to take $300K cushy FAANG jobs is just internet revenge fantasy.
