I feel like it was a missed opportunity for BigCo to showcase their in-house AI by providing chat support for said laid off people.

this would be the headline: "callous tech company lays off tech company then trials unvetted chat bots on them"

along with all the examples of it giving awful advice

I think it's worse than just fire by email lol
