Users generate it, and then get abused by advertisers in return, while API wielding bros get everything for free without giving back or being abused? Naw. Users generate content, those exploiting the data can pay their fare share. They probably hammer the datafuck out of twitter all the time as well. Probably for garbage reasons like getting an alert within ten seconds of someone posting so they can spam ideological Messages within 60 seconds. I'm thinking krassenstein bros etc.
