Speaking of ASP.NET Core, why do web hosts not support it via Phusion Passenger like Ruby, Python, and Node apps are supported? Lack of cheap hosting for .NET apps keeps a lot of legacy PHP in production for me personally (which is why Blazor is not of interest to me)... I'm sure I'm not alone.
Shortly after Blazor creator Steve Sanderson wowed web-devs with a new prototype project called Blazor United and solicited feedback on its viability, Microsoft flipped the switch and put it on the roadmap for .NET 8.
