What Is Distributed SQL?

Presumably this takes into account things like the CAP Theorem (when part of the network fails, you have to choose just one of either Consistency or Avalability). [0]

But at first glance, I don't see this addressed.

Tangential and not necessarily a critique (I don't know what yugabyte is doing), but certainly of general interest: see also Fallacies of distributed computing. [1]
