Chat Interface to Search Engine (www.perplexity.ai)

It's good. It mixes languages some times (I use it in spanish) and sometimes uses a weird choice of sources.

Id like to have a button to make it go deeper, not just elaborate a bit more on who says what.

The follow up questions thing is kinda that, but somehow I feel it's not "there".

Maybe I have to play more with it, but ill definitely use it.

I really like this approach of backing up claims with links.

IMO you're into something powerful. ChatGPT is more impressive but you can't really do information retrieval with it, you have to trust (or not) it.

Now that I'm writing this, I'd like to know where in the sources does it get the info for its claims.

We've worked on a new chat interface to Perplexity Ask: Available to try out at www.perplexity.ai

The intention is to let people ask follow up questions, and dig deeper into topics. And maybe refine their queries if they weren't happy with the initial response. We are also exploring "concise" and "detailed" answers to each query.

Would appreciate any feedback on improvements to the search, UI/UX, and stuff that doesn't work well yet!

Better than Google ! Impressed with the results so far.
