Ask PG: is hckrnews.com blocked, and, if so, why?

It must have exceeded some kind of limit. We don't know which IP address is doing queries for which service. In cases like this, people should just email me.

This would be really sad. hckrnews is the only way I can reasonably read Hacker News. It's extremely useful to be able to see "what's new (and good) since the last time I visited."

You should probably email. Last time I had a similar issue that was the response.

I only wish I'd known about it for the last 1.5 years — that's exactly the kind of interface to HN I'd always wanted.
