This is a very useful and fun recreation of a Eurorack modular synthesizer, with an enormous library of modules to choose from. The interface is slick, the sound is great, and the free version does everything you need short of being a plug-in for your DAW.
Highly recommend Omri Cohen's myriad videos for learning VCV Rack.
