Ha. I remember using the word well-nigh correctly in a sentence in the fourth grade. It was literally a vocabulary word that we were taught. It was marked wrong. I must have mentioned it to my mom, as she asked the teacher about it at a parent teacher conference. I'm still annoyed they marked it wrong after they taught it to me..
