IoT technology allows building managers to measure and control the interior environment of temperature, carbon dioxide levels, and humidity. This effort creates the optimum working environment for each employee and reduces energy consumption. In this article, we will overview an engineering approach to building a smart office ecosystem and identify some IoT security concerns for smart office applications.
