Get Paid: Understanding and Negotiating Compensation

I have the silliest "negotiation" style. I do my research on the person and the company.

If I like the leader and the company, when it comes to pay I just say to them: "I'd love working with you and I know you'll give me the best you can".

It worked out for me as I'm incredibly happy with my role.

That being said, the data is there, and if I had to do it again, I'd negotiate.

My 1 rule of negotiating offers: no matter the offer, I will reply with an email containing the following words: "Could you do <+$10k>?"

It's worked several times, it's not worked several times. On average, people will meet me in the middle.
