Shouldn’t it just be “dup” or “dupl”? There’s no “e” trailing the “dup”.

dupe sounds more like duplicate than dup

The original Telsa Roadster was based on the Lotus Elise tub which had to be stiff as there was no monocoque roof/pilars but only a rollbar.
