Using ULIDs at Incident.io

Inspired by Mike Coutermarsh's post on Using NanoIDs at PlanetScale (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34172989), I've written up some of the trade-offs we've experienced using ULIDs at incident.io.

It's quite a different ID type to NanoIDs, and it's useful to know how they differ before you pick them.

YMMV depending on how you implement it, but there were some surprises for me even with our very basic implementation.
