Every hardware startup’s post mortem

I’d hate to say it, but unrepairability is another nail in the coffin for me trying to support alternative devices compared to the big boys.

I’d like my devices to last at least 4-5 years, even if they have to be repaired at some cost in that time. I understand not being able to walk into the closest repair shop, but would like to mail it in.

I guess with service costs, the true cost of the watch would be as much as just buying 2 like this.

I’ve had a similar experience with GoPro for example.

Do you think there is a way out of this cycle?
