Compound Interest. The idea and the numbers made sense but it is only with many more decades of life that I understand how much impact time has on compounding. If I had understood this when I was younger, I would have made different choices in regards to saving more. Small sacrifices when you're younger and can easily tolerate them, have massive dividends later in life.
