I was frustrated by bad movie recommendations of netflix, amazon prime etc. But as it turns out, GPT-3 is quite good at it! So I built a little UI around it - hope it'll be useful to someone.

I think it's cool but you should have an option of just recommending movies that are similar to a specific one.
thanks. there is a button "Movies like this" for every search result. Does that achieve your requirement?

"Indie films from 2022" showed me about 6 films from 2017-2021.
good point! I'm guessing that's because GPT-3's training data cuts off somewhere in 2022, so that's why it might not be very good for recent movies :(
