Teenage Engineering made a physical version of this, including the midi interface. I like to think there’s a test lab somewhere with 256 of these:

My favourite cover is the Champions League theme song https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/comments/uveeaf/_/

My favourite use of Blob Opera is this rendition of Cruel Angel's Thesis: https://youtu.be/2nGcm848Eyg

This is great.

Reminded me of Pink Trombone https://dood.al/pinktrombone/

I sent this to my gf, but performance is very bad (Intel N4100, hw acceleration turned on), what can be the reason? One would say modern integrated graphic can run animation like this without issues.

Animation is loading but it is very slow.

Children of the Omnissiah would be better if there were a percussion blob. https://youtu.be/fTuEjTuvd_Y

Here's the Super Mario theme: https://youtu.be/EYWsDrSGpCA

It seems like it has received quite a few updates since first reveal!

If you have a midi keyboard you can hook it up and the blobs will play the notes. Not sure about compatibility there but it worked with my little keyboard.
