Ask HN: What are your New Year’s Resolutions?

Health: 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night / 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week / Plan meals for the week / Give myself more respect and credit.

Tech: I’ve been a generalist software engineer for 8 years and want to dive deep into a particular topic. Still trying things out to see what sticks. It’s probably difficult to suggest things without knowing me but I’m very open to suggestions!

Career: Focus more during work hours and work less.

Misc: Find an OSS project that’s fun to contribute to or start one.

I used to make these big goals and have never completed them. I think this is list is doable for me since I’ve been doing it already.
