Ask HN: What are your favourite macOS “Automator” automations?

I've got one that copies files to a remote webserver and puts a link to it in the clipboard. Based off of this: https://gist.github.com/kenmickles/bf8ffbf7117f4b394ff01c8ed...

I use hammerspoon (https://www.hammerspoon.org/) to run a lot of shortcuts for myself, I find that the lua language whilst a little strange but still more easier to grok than automator/applescript.

Capslock + M: copies the title of my next meeting from Fantastical onto the clipboard and adds “ #meeting” to the end. I paste this into an Obsidian note during meetings.
