Star rising in Kremlin, Russia's Medvedev predicts war in West

These predictions are so removed from logic and proportion that they sound exactly like some sort of code phrase (with Musk thrown in to get media traction?) — either as a text-carrier "numbers" variant, or to activate sleeper cells?

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

(or maybe Medvedev sent a "ping" to help map out the retweet network, and I've just linked HN into their graph?)

Reuters article conveniently left out the intro to those predictions:

Many come up with futuristic hypotheses, as if competing to single out the wildest, and even the most absurd ones.

Here’s our humble contribution.

What can happen in 2023:

Kinda changes the entire perspective, don't you think? As in futuristic/wildest/absurd hypotheses.

> Season greetings to you all, Anglo-Saxon friends, and their happily oinking piglets!

Aha, he's mocking the entire "ruble will collapse, Novosibirsk will secede, Ukrainian Special Forces will mistakenly capture Kremlin instead of Crimea" birdseed genre. That makes much more sense.

I think Musk may have taken him seriously tho?

The Russians are notorious for black humor and taking the piss.

Of course you could trust Reuters and others to take it all seriously. That only only makes them and others in the MSM look even more stupid than they are.

The Russian April Fools Jokes are many. https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-russia-april-...
