Search result: Hide sites with advertising?

I'd worry that filtering out advertising will just surface those who hide their monetization better. Top 10 lists, paid reviews, guest posts.

https://millionshort.com/ allows you to filter out popular websites. It's a different approach of course.

I think there was a question about only returning non-Javascript-using websites recently, can't find it (maybe it was "plain text" or similar).

Thanks, I’ll try millionshort and then search for plain text

I started a project to help me pull content from my insta, twitter, etc with the ads cut out.

The aim feeds still look and feel like the original site, but without ads, or duplicate content.

Thanks, I’ll give it a whirl

Copious use of boolean filters, if the search engine even honors them (less and less nowadays)

True, worth a try
