It's time for someone started showing some balls against these rent-seeking bureaucratic moochers.
* Release open source software with license specifically prohibiting European companies from using them.
* Increase prices for services. (chatGPT should be 3x more for European users)
The best part is, even with 3x prices local European companies can't compete because of draconian laws.

If they raise service prices to three times above the US level, they will forego profits. Why would the free market do that?
Even if this happened (which it wont, see sibling comments), it would have to be enforced within the European courts. EU could easily just change laws or choose not to enforce it.
And do the same for copyright of American media. Congrats! Now you have started a trade war and Russia and China are laughing in the corner.
