"Fake it until you make it." "Move fast, break things" . I just love how irresponsibility and arrogance has taken over the startup scene. /s

This was all good when it comes to your website but when we enter the real world where lives are at stake like in medicine or cars on the road and now geo-engineering we are playing with fire.

The reason why they're called green technology companies has less to do with protecting the environment than the color of money.

Finally.

Next question: What's the climate supposed to be like?

Next next question: Who gets to decide?

Mimicking the effect of volcanoes is a catastrophic idea, not just bad, but genocidaly bad. We have managed to survive _a_ climate altering eruption. If the atmosphere is already altered when the next one happens, it will be a literal ice age, no one will survive.

Climate altering eruptions happen all the time and measurably change climate from months to years...

The last ice age didn't even make it to southern Europe and the southern part of North America, so given the amount of food production in those areas as well as Australia and South America, it seems pretty plausible that another ice age would barely dent human progress.

There would simply be a migration out of Canada, northern USA and northern Europe. Food will still be grown, and people will still survive.
