This war is caused by an invasion of Ukraine by Russia and nothing else. Neither the US nor NATO are fighting in this war, it is solely Russian troops invading Ukraine, Russian aircraft bombing Ukraine, and Russian missiles targeting Ukraine. Ukraine is fighting back within their own border and although they are being provided with support and weaponry by several NATO and non-NATO countries, I think they have not targeted anything other than Russian troops within their country, and Russian military who were attacking them. There are no troops from any other country fighting in Ukraine with the Ukrainians.
