I actually went down this rabbit hole yesterday and found a consensus around the Wall Street Journal's Logistics Report [1] and Supply Chain Dive [2].

The Odd Lots podcast is great for this. They cover a number of different finance/economics related topics, but they've done some great deep dives into supply chain stuff - they've had the head of Flexport, the guy who runs the Port of LA, a long-haul trucker and a whole host of other folks. Just scroll through their list of old episodes until you see supply-chain related ones.

OP recommended freightwaves.com, do you mean other than that?
