Ask HN: Can a ChatGPT app that specializes in medicine replace a Doctor?

ChatGPT is pretty good but can it specialize on a subject area and replace 50%+ of the specialists in that area?

The thing is ChatGPT still makes very severe logic mistakes a certain percent of the time. As long as it's not 100% reliable (or close) a human will have to go over all of its output. Perhaps doctors can do their work faster that way but no I don't think any country will agree to replace doctors with A.I just yet.

But what happens 10 years from now who knows, it wouldn't surprise me if it replaces certain types of doctors.
