These days any announcement from musk companies i wonder how real they are. I think the guy pushes agendas so hard and so many folks enamored with him that they would say anything wether any truth to it.

You can count on the numbers being at least roughly real. But it's not that encouraging:

- 1M is less than 1% of Verizon customers. Terrestrial fiber and mmWave FWA will be faster and cheaper.

- To serve 1M customers, it takes launching about 4500 satellites to get 3500 current working satellites with a lifespan of about 5 years. Everything depends on the next gen satellites completely changing that equation.
