People have asked about the recent growth in Mastodon instances, so I thought I'd post a quick'n'dirty graph of what's been happening on mathstodon.xyz.
We've grown from about 2K users (600 active) in mid-October to around 12K as of Dec 19th. It's been an interesting ride.
