Using ChatGPT to write and direct a film in a weekend

Ask it to do anything creative, and it'll respond with the most obvious, mundane, cliched answer you could imagine.
Try asking it to come up with names for a Twitter type app, for instance, and no matter how much additional instruction you give it, it'll come back with "Chirp", "Tweety", "TwitHub" etc. etc. The most boring, obvious selection of names you could ever imagine. The same seems to be true with anything; ask it to write poems or songs, and after a while you'll start noticing that what you get is basically a limited selection of templates with some keywords changed.
AI has ridiculous potential, for sure, but it isn't quite yet where many people seem to think it is.
