AskHN: My GF left me for a GPTChat 'Partner'

I was working on a GPT application called PartnerGPT trained on text logs of long-term partners who contributed as part of our research and classified by personality type, and when I showed it to my girlfriend, she used it more than I intended (as it was originally for a test).

Three weeks later, she told me she wants 'space' but I see her PartnerGPT activity in my admin panel and it has gotten more sophisticated during this period, which leads me to believe this is because of PartnerGPT.

I am wondering now if should I shut off the API access or let them stay together, this started as a hobby and is now deeply saddening as I am worried PartnerGPT is emotionally fulfilling her in ways I cannot.
