Show HN: Why YC when there's YZ?

To pick just one specific concern out of many, the text of the site suggests it was written by someone lacking critical experience with US and EU securities law. That suggests the site was written by someone without experience taking a company through series B funding and beyond.
There is far, far too much bad but well intentioned advice being pushed on entrepreneurs and founders already. Start by building several successful companies that you take from formation to significant exit, then look into solving the problems faced by entrepreneurs. Trying to do it the other way around is just going to add to the challenges faced by everyone involved in the companies you are trying to help, including, for example, the risk of advocating for companies to engage in activities that are potentially serious violations of investment law (law that is there not for gatekeeping purposes but for financial fraud prevention reasons and that has been and remains demonstrably critical across most or all markets, and that can have highly punitive impacts on the companies in question).
Would be nice to see some sources for this. Googling it doesn't seem to show anything of the sort so perhaps you did some calculations. Regardless, would be good to see.
> Investor bias: Only a few investors have access to YC.
> Contributions: Not anyone can contribute to YC startups. Just a selected few.
Both of these are something you've stated as "bad" ... why? Why are they bad? Clearly the model works and YC has been very successfull, could it be because of these reasons? I don't know either way, but your website doesn't really explain why these are bad things, just states them as such.
Nonetheless, applause for putting something out there. Bit more info about you would be good. Who are you, what are you bringing to the table, and why should people join you and so on.
This isn't even close to true. Do some research and update it. You lost all credibility when I saw that.
Also, have a link to the source code.
And publish your real name!
We always need more competition, so I applaud you for going for it, but you have to go for it. And be honest.
Sounds like a perfect recipe for disaster to me.
