Just realized another thing. The Chelyabinsk meteor was about 20 m (66 ft). That's larger than your "Dodge Durango-sized asteroid". So I don't think it would be detected, much less worries about hitting the Earth - a <5m size of asteroid hits the Earth pretty often. (Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_TC3 )
ʻOumuamua, which is the first interstellar object detected passing through the Solar System, is an estimated 100-1000 meters, as a guess. 2I/Borisov is also in the 100+ meter range.
