Encrypted file storage Proton Drive launches on iOS and Android

Proton Drive - an encrypted cloud storage service from the creators of Proton Mail and VPN - is now available for download on Google Play and the App Store.

In an increasingly mobile-first world, achieving our mission of building a privacy-centric internet means focusing on mobile platforms and allowing secure, private access to your files everywhere and at any time.

This is why the Proton Drive mobile apps have offline access to your files and folders. To save mobile data, the feature is not turned on by default but you can choose which files and folders you can access when offline. These files are saved on your device in an encrypted format so they stay better protected even if you lose your device.

You can also generate file sharing links with one tap, and easily encrypt and backup the files on your mobile device.
