North Korea’s nuclear program is funded by stolen crypto. Could FTX collapse it?

So wait. If North Korea stole a couple billion over ~5 years, and it's a significant fraction of their nuclear program budget, why is the crash suggested to be such a disaster? Haven't they already sold most of their Bitcoins for missile parts?

I thought they were funded by perfectly counterfeiting US dollars.

I note that when I searched DDG for “north korea counterfeit dollar” it listed several sites offering to sell super dollars in bulk. That’s… ballsy.

North Korea deals drugs and arms in the third world and has small supplies of foreign currency with large supplies of counterfeits. I doubt the program they've been funding since the mid 90s solely hinges on cryptocurrency.
