Enlil: Wind turbine designed to harvest energy from passing vehicles

I think that must mean that it slows down that wind, decreasing the benefit other cars have driving in the wake of other cars.
I think the net effect will still be positive (especially on roads with traffic in two directions close to each other), but still, the energy has to come from somewhere, and I don’t think _all_ of it comes from wind that wouldn’t help other cars driving along the same path.
So, what’s the effect on energy usage of the cars?
I'd strongly question any claims based on this and the basic underlying concept.
All the more so as the website has no technical information.
how about piezoelectric cells that utilize the passing weight differentials in the road bed ---- load/unload/load/unload etc.... these cells work on the principle of alternating mechanical stress....
Doubly so for electric cars. Imagine the losses in generating power, distributing it, charging a battery, running a motor, moving road or air, catching a few fractions in a turbine, generating electricity again and then transmitting that.
All these schemes are a cross between a Homer Simpson plan, Wile E. Coyote, Rube Goldberg and Troll Physics memes, angling for some greenwashing overspray capital(....)
