This feels very Soap Opera and not like a real dispute. What is going on?
My guess is that Elon wanted some concession on the 30% App Store cut. He probably got it. In exchange he will stop going after Apple.

Highly unlikely. That would open Apple up to way more anti-competitive suits from other companies
Apple has carveouts to take less for other major companies.
And now Musk says Apple was NOT even considering removing the Twitter app from the store? So he just made a scandalous claim out of thin air?
it was only Musk posting that claimed there is any dispute in the first place, this seems like a weird made up drama.
