I was hoping this is about symbolic math. I am desperately looking for a way to conveniently scribe mathematical equations on a PC.
I wonder if at some point we'll be forced to reckon with the fact that math notation just has not been planned. People have just made it up as they go along, and so there's all kinds of conflicts, irregularities, and conventions that add up to a big hot mess.
