The best case from all this shenanigans is that it puts the spotlight on class warfare. Excessively wealthy people are becoming more and more flagrant in how they treat the rest of society and continually testing the boundaries of what they can get away with. Instead of showing gratitude towards the society that made them possible and doing a small part in moving the society forward, they are leveraging their position and power to make themselves more wealthy and powerful even at the expense of causing general misery. It's a matter of time before the straw breaks the camel's back.
