For example, some print magazines (yes, they still exist) have gone from having "special double issues" to regular double-issues, essentially going from weekly to bi-weekly without saying so. (for example, TIME or The Week)
Or the Netflix disc-by-mail service (dvd.com) (yes, it still exists, but may be headed for oblivion soon). They haven't raised the price in many years but instead are cutting back on frequency. First, a few years ago, they silently ended the practice of mailing out new discs on Saturday, even though the post office (USPS) still operates on Saturday, they hoped no one would notice but I did (and called them up about it). Now, instead of shipping from the nearest facility in San Jose, I often receive discs from much farther locations, including Texas and New Jersey, so the delivery frequency is far lower due to extra days in the mail.
And the USPS itself is slowly cutting service, such as removing local mailboxes and most likely ending Saturday delivery sometime in the next few years.
