"a Muslim colleague had bacon and sausages stuffed in his pockets and a terrorist hotline sign posted on his locker."

As a Muslim who lived in UK at various points of my life (part of family being there) I find this very difficult to believe. Most Brits if not have been overly cautious and annoying with their attempts to be "tolerant" and "PC".

It seems like they imagined the most stereotypical offenses you could make towards minorities, the bacon one especially made me laugh.

I think they wanted to replace the squad that was working there and thought they need to come up with some good excuses to get rid of em.

It isn’t even slightly difficult to believe - there were a couple of very public examples in London a few years ago, where people were jailed for attacking Muslims with bacon. I’ve literally seen, first-hand, people screaming slurs about terrorism at assumed Muslims on the tube.

I am baffled that you would assume some kind of fictional story as part of a conspiracy aimed at replacing a crew, rather than the much less complex idea that there might be bigoted people in some workplaces.

So because you never faced any incidents then it can’t possibly have happened! Glad it gave you a giggle though.

"“The report highlighted a lack of confidence in the brigade’s current complaints procedure and showed that staff didn’t feel safe speaking up. The brigade is introducing an external complaints service while internal processes are improved. Staff will be able to use the service to report poor behaviour rather than having to report it internally,”

Hello cops. Relax, not you. Well, not yet, anyway. We'll just fire yor female boss and er.....soldier on.
