How many of these headlines do we have to read (representing multiple orders of magnitude LESS funds stolen compared to SBF) before SBF is in handcuffs?
SBF's status doesn't make these stories any less newsworthy.
It's odd how they go hard on "crypto scammers" for mid to low millions and continue to explain away the SBF fraud as "big oopsie".
The line between scam and criminal negligence is one of intent, but that line gets blurred based on the presumed understanding of the risk being taken. I am curious who "they" are however, and why it even matters. Hopefully they all are punished accordingly, and every misappropriation of crypto investments, from $1 to $1T, is called out.
Investigations take time. This ponzi scheme started in 2015. You do the math.
