The fact that work got done and milestones were hit during covid via wfh undercuts arguments. “Do it my way cuz it’s better” has become “do it my way”. And the young seem less into accepting the latter. With the departure of the boomers, perhaps there’s enough openings to give some agency back to the workers, particularly if they work together a bit.
