Realistically I think most of the TikTok content creators would go over to Reels and the net effect on attention-destroying time-wasting would be small.

I think YouTube shorts has a decent shot, as they can leverage the mega YouTube pool of creators.

I don't think shorts is going to take off if they continue with the gimped player.
