Amazon Drive Is Shutting Down at the End of 2023, but Your Photos Are Safe

My read of the email I got: Unencrypted files are safe for formats recognized by Amazon as "photos" or "videos". Everything else is "data" (maybe even raw photos?) and gets removed.

This is old news, right? They kicked me off back in 2020 with all the other synology users:

2. Upload your unencrypted content to Amazon Drive, using the app or website.

(Again, this was back in 2020...)
