"Wellfound" definitely does not suggest that, at least to me. The associations I make are health or search related. I'm curious which agency did the rebrand work.

"Wellfound" sounds like an app for finding wells to get water from in your area.

It's less descriptive than the old name though.

As a job marketplace, we were never "a list of angels". AngelList Venture, which in many ways still is, continues on with the name AngelList.
