The paranoia pertains to burying metal plates underground, preparing for a post-collapse future. As if bitcoin will be a viable currency when we're all trying to figure out food and shelter.

Also, this assumes that there is plentiful electricity in this post apocalyptic future to mine bitcoins!

The delusion part is believing that it would still be worth $100k after an amount of time that would warrant burying something in the ground.

You could just print it on a piece of paper and put it in a safe!

The funny part of that is that you literally cannot have $1000000 in a crypto wallet, because that's not how dollars work. Oh, you've got something in your crypto wallet, but it ain't dollars.

Of course he can have $100,000 in his wallet, that $80k will be usable to exchange in return for $50k of goods, for sure!
