Internal documents show how close the FBI came to deploying Pegasus spyware

I think FBI hired an AI as a PR agent

Just to be clear is there some suggestion that they were looking to deploy it extrajudicially without FISA warrants?

If this is just used as another tool for otherwise legal counter intelligence, counter terrorism or criminal investigations then I’m not sure I see the issue?
