Telling engineers to break the law is astounding, but it's on par for Elon Musk. It's a good way to ensure that only the sycophants and hopeless optimists will remain at the company. That works for SpaceX, useful people are still willing to stick around despite Elon Musk, who knows if it will work for Twitter.
